About UsSawadee Khrap. Welcome and hello. My name is Penny. Let me help you. First a little intro: I came about because my mother the daughter of a Thai army personnel couldn't resist the charms of a uniformed Malaysian army personnel. I am so glad they met or where would I be today. An American tourist once said, "Penny you have the best of both worlds... not quite Chinese look but a little exotic Thai thrown in". I have been described as lovely, beautiful ;) (I am not..honestly.) I am just....vivacious :), interesting looking but the best description that fit me came from an Australian man. He said, "At first I didn't dare approach you for assistance as you look so elegant but now I realize what you really are. You are jovial, humorous and in love with life. I can trust you." All my friends burst into laughter. Such nice kind words.
I have relatives from both countries and love both countries passionately.
Other than doing this online work, my hobby is flower arrangement. I think of them as pieces of art. I only do them for close friends.
I would like to end this post with an incident. I was with my cousins, Krong and Lek in a small eating place in Phuket. Then came in a very good-looking Malaysian man. He seemed a little lost and spoke English to us. We pretended not to understand. He kept making gestures and smiling. He was getting red-faced and starting to perspire with embarrassment. Being the cheeky one, I smiled back and gestured we didn't understand. He then took a tissue and drew a very fat hen and an egg under it. He then drew a wok. By then, we were all laughing out loud. Dear Uncle Somchai wasn't pleased. He said we shouldn't treat customers that way. The guy seemed happy, accepted our invitation and joined us for dinner in the kitchen. Isn't life fun? :) |
